We have several options for your car park shades when it comes to selecting the fabric according to weather conditions and location:
HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) is a heavy-duty knitted shade fabric for the tensile membrane, shade structures, and shade sails. HDPE fabric is suited for large commercial projects where specifications require fabric exposed to environmental conditions like wind, rain, hail, dust and UV exposure. Woven HDPE fabrics offer maximum Ultra Violet A and B protection. HDPE fabrics have a lifespan of 8 – 10 years.
PVC (Polyvinylchloride) fabrics is a special type of fabric obtained by the weaving of the fibers (polyester-woven) which are the main carrying element of the membrane cover. These materials have a vast spectrum of applications from shades to stadiums, amphitheaters to parking lots, marketplaces and performance halls, to various parks and recreational structures, to entrance canopies and to airport structures. PVC fabrics have a life span of 20 – 25 years for your car parking shades.
In PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) fabrics the woven glass fiber is coated with Teflon material. The self-cleaning feature and a minimum B1 fire resistance class are standard in this type of fabric which is more durable compared to PVC fabrics. The PTFE fabric is used large-scale permanent tensile structures or structures requiring long life and with specific construction code compliance requirements. PTFE fabrics have a lifespan of more than 30 years.
